Are you an experienced Electrical Project or Package Manager with a strong background in regulated industries such as nuclear, defence, rail or aviation?
Were working with a leading organisation on a major infrastructure project and are seeking a professional to take full ownership of electrical work packages from design through to delivery.
The Role
Youll plan, direct, and oversee all aspects of the electrical scope
ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing electrical design and coordinating through the design process
Scoping and defining electrical work packages
Overseeing procurement and subcontractor appointment
Supporting delivery teams to achieve programme milestones
Chairing progress meetings and managing contractor reporting
Monitoring design, programme, and quality deliverables
Managing change control, RFIs, and technical submissions
Ensuring safe systems of work and robust quality sign-off procedures
About You
Youll bring strong technical knowledge, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a high-compliance environment.
Experience & Skills:
Proven experience managing electrical packages within large projects
Confident in procurement and contractor management
Strong organisational, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
Excellent communication and reporting capability
Previous experience in regulated sectors (nuclear/defence/rail/aviation preferred)
Qualifications:
Degree, HNC, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
PM qualification desirable (e.g. APM, PRINCE2)
CSCS or equivalent site accreditation
