Office Assistant – Temporary to Permanent. Sandbach, Cheshire. £12.21 per hour (£13.69ph inclusive of holiday pay). We are currently recruiting for an Office Assistant to join a well-established engineering company based in Sandbach. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity covering maternity leave for approximately 9 months, with the potential for a long-term role for the right candidate. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 (30-minute unpaid break) Key responsibilities: General office administration duties Matching paperwork from goods-in and goods-out departments Posting purchase ledger invoices Supporting the sales department with writing up quotes Entering small sales orders Maintaining accurate records and supporting day-to-day office operations Requirements: Minimum 1 year’s office administration experience in a similar role Experience using Sage 200 Confident user of Microsoft Word and Excel Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, friendly company environment where reliability and a positive attitude are valued.
