Responsibilities
* Providing first-line IT support to staff and students across the school
* Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues efficiently
* Installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
* Supporting classroom technology, interactive displays, and audiovisual equipment
* Assisting with user account management, passwords, and access permissions
* Monitoring and maintaining the school's network and IT systems
* Supporting the rollout of new hardware and software across the school
* Maintaining accurate records of IT assets, repairs, and support requests
Qualifications
* Has previous experience in an IT support or technician role
* Has strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Possesses a good understanding of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and network systems
* Is organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
* Communicates confidently with both technical and non-technical users
* Works well independently and as part of a wider team
* Previous experience within a school or educational setting is desirable but not essential
