Reporting to: Amazon Supervisor / Production Manager
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Working Hours: 7:30am – 17:00pm (Monday – Thursday) 07:30am – 12:30pm (Friday)

As part of our team, you will be contributing to the production of high-quality protective products for critical industries.

Job Purpose

To assemble high-quality cases and rack systems for orders within the Amazon department, ensuring products are built accurately, efficiently, and to company quality standards while meeting production targets and health & safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Assembly

* Assemble protective cases and rack systems according to drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

* Fit hardware components including handles, catches, hinges and fixings.

* Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively.

* Carry out repetitive assembly tasks with accuracy and consistency.

* Ensure orders are completed on time to meet Amazon deadlines.

Quality Control

* Check completed products for accuracy, finish, and compliance with customer and company standards.

* Identify and report defects, damaged materials, or missing components.

* Ensure products are packed correctly and ready for dispatch where required.

Health, Safety & Housekeeping

* Follow all company health & safety procedures and safe systems of work.

* Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workstation.

* Handle materials and finished products safely in line with manual handling guidelines.

Teamwork & Communication

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily and weekly production targets.

* Communicate clearly with supervisors regarding progress, shortages, or issues.

* Support other departments during busy periods when required.

General Duties

* Assist with stock handling, picking, and basic inventory tasks for Amazon orders.

* Participate in training, toolbox talks, and continuous improvement activities.

* Undertake other reasonable duties in line with the needs of the business.

Person Specification

Essential Skills & Experience

* Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

* Ability to use hand tools and follow technical instructions or drawings.

* Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.

* Ability to work to targets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

* Basic literacy and numeracy skills.

* Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance.

Desirable Skills & Experience

* Previous experience assembling cases, racks, or similar engineered products. However, full training will be given to the right candidate.

* Experience working with Amazon or e‑commerce order fulfilment environments.

* Familiarity with basic power tools (e.g., drills, rivet guns, drivers).

* Experience working within ISO or quality-controlled environments.

Working Conditions

Factory / workshop-based role in Isleworth.

Exposure to noise, dust, and machinery typical of a manufacturing environment.

Standard working hours with potential overtime during peak periods.
