Lead and manage billing operations by overseeing a team of billing specialists to ensure accurate invoicing, process efficiency, and regulatory compliance while maintaining strong client and stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of billing specialists to deliver accurate and timely billing operations
* Review and approve billing reports and invoices to ensure accuracy before client delivery
* Develop and implement billing procedures to improve process efficiency and ensure compliance with regulations
* Resolve billing and payment issues promptly to maintain client satisfaction and operational continuity
* Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all billing activities and transactions
* Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal departments to address and resolve billing concerns
Preferred competencies and qualifications
* Demonstrated experience managing billing in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
* Proven ability to collaborate with clients and stakeholders across organizational levels
* Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing or related functions
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and billing software applications
* Strong organizational and leadership skills demonstrated through team management
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills applied in client and team interactions
* Detail-oriented approach with analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure billing accuracy
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
