Skilled Joiner Shopfitting & Bespoke Joinery Location: Drumbo, Lisburn (with sites across NI) Job type: Full-time, permanent About the role Were looking for a time-served, experienced Joiner to join our small, skilled team at Edgar Shopfitting Limited, a long-established, family-run shopfitting and bespoke joinery company based in Drumbo, Lisburn. Youll be working on a variety of retail, commercial and showroom projects across Northern Ireland a mix of workshop-based manufacturing and on-site installation, from soft strip-out and 1st fix through to high-end finishes. This role will suit someone who is hands-on, accurate, and proud of their work, and who enjoys seeing a project through from drawings to finished fit-out. Key responsibilities Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications Measure, cut and assemble bespoke joinery items (counters, units, panelling, doors, architraves, IPS / toilet cubicles, general unitry) Carry out 1st and 2nd fix joinery on shopfitting and commercial fit-out projects Use a range of hand tools, portable power tools and workshop machinery safely and confidently Install and finish joinery to a high standard of accuracy and detail Work both independently and as part of a small team to meet project deadlines Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment, following health & safety procedures Look after tools and equipment and report any issues promptly Experience & qualifications Time-served / fully qualified Joiner (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent) Proven experience in shopfitting, commercial joinery or similar Confident reading and working from drawings and setting-out information Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across NI CSR card (or willingness to obtain with our support) Reliable, organised and able to work with minimal supervision when required What we offer Competitive rate of pay based on experience Permanent, full-time role with a steady pipeline of work Pension and paid holidays in line with NI legislation Varied work mix of workshop and on-site joinery, no two jobs the same Opportunity to work on recognisable projects across Northern Ireland Family-run, friendly environment where youre treated as part of the team, not just a number
