About The Role As a Bank Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll help residents enjoy each day by ensuring they get quality care and support. You'll assist with daily living, provide support and companionship, and share moments and memories. Every day will be different and rewarding. You could be doing anything from supporting residents with their food and drink and following care plans to ensuring that each resident has one-to-one time. This role offers an opportunity to put your skills to meaningful use and develop your career.
Responsibilities
* Provide daily living support and companionship to residents.
* Assist with food and drink and follow individual care plans.
* Ensure each resident has one-to-one time and meaningful engagement.
* Contribute to a flexible bank service, covering various shifts as needed.
About You
To join us as a Bank Care Assistant you’ll need to have some experience of caring for older people, a can-do approach and excellent communication skills. Your empathy and warm-hearted approach will shine through, but above all, you’ll have the compassion needed to deliver the highest standard of care and support for all our residents. As this is a Bank position to provide cover as and when we need it, such as for annual leave or sick leave, the hours and days you work will vary.
