An Exciting Opportunity Has Arisen for a Deputy Nursery Manager to join a well-established childcare provider renowned for their commitment to delivering exceptional early years education and care. As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will be supporting the daily leadership of a thriving nursery, ensuring a safe, inspiring, and nurturing learning environment for young children. This role is full-time term time only offering a salary range of £26,000 - £29,000 (FTE £35,000 - £38,000) and benefits. You Will Be Responsible For: Supporting the Nursery Manager with the smooth, efficient running of the setting. Leading and motivating staff to maintain a positive, collaborative atmosphere. Upholding safeguarding, health and safety, and statutory requirements at all times. Acting as a key person for a group of children, ensuring individual needs are met through thoughtful planning. Overseeing record keeping, including attendance, incidents, and risk assessments. Contributing to the development and implementation of curriculum activities in line with early years frameworks. Taking on management responsibilities in the absence of the Nursery Manager. What We Are Looking For: Previously worked as a Nursery Deputy Manager, Third in Charge, Nursery Practitioner, Assistant Nursery Manager, Room leader or in a similar role. At least 2 years of experience working in nursery and with children aged 2 - 5 years. A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above A solid understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding principles, and health & safety standards.
