Account Handler

(Salary Sacrifice Scheme)

Role Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity to help maintain and grow a salary sacrifice client within Howden C&LC Pillar, helping to build client relationships, maximise growth opportunities and work with the business to ensure we are delivering tailored insurance solutions that meet our clients evolving needs.

Client Relationship Management

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with the client
2. Serve as the primary point of contact for client queries, New Business, Renewals, and service delivery.
3. Understand the clients evolving needs to maximise order volume and growth

Policy and Coverage Management

4. Effectively handle client queries and mid-term adjustments relating to their Motor Fleet offering
5. Submission of monthly Brdx to both Clients and Insurers to ensure Accounting and coverage is accurate and detailed
6. Documentation issuing to Clients for New Business and Renewals
7. Data Analysis to spot referral trends and effectively communicate findings with Management, Insurers and the client to overcome objections.

Internal Collaboration

8. Collaborate with the Branch Manager and Senior Management across the business on scheme management and processes
9. Work closely with teams across the business to ensure alignment, share insights and drive collective success

Skills & Experience

Essential

10. You excel at building and sustaining strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including internal teams, the client, and prospective new clients.
11. You’re tenacious and inquisitive, always looking for new opportunities to deliver value and drive the best outcomes for clients.
12. You listen actively, ask the right questions, and take time to understand client needs, advising on the most suitable solutions while always seeking a ‘path to yes’.
13. You’re eager to continue learning and developing your career, including pursuing further professional qualifications.
14. Adaptability & Resilience – Flexible, results-driven, and able to thrive in a changing business environment.
15. Strong ability to use Excel Spreadsheets with high volume of data.

16. Previous Insurance experience.
