About the role
We are recruiting flexible and reliable Supply SEND Teaching Assistants to support a well-established, Ofsted rated ‘Good’ specialist school in the Rugby area. This setting supports pupils with a wide range of additional needs, including ASD, MLD, PMLD, SEMH, andplex learning needs.
As a Supply SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups
2. Assist withmunication, sensory needs, and emotional regulation
3. Help pupils engage in learning and daily routines
4. Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
5. Create a calm, safe, and inclusive environment
What you'll need to succeed
6. Experience supporting learners with additional needs (SEN, SEMH, ASD, MLD, PMLD)
7. Background as a Teaching Assistant, Support Worker or LSA,
8. Patience, resilience, and a nurturing approach
9. Ability to follow behaviour and support plans
10. Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
