Why we want you
As a Waterside Leader, your support will help create memorable experiences for visitors and enhance our network through leading activities. Opportunities include roles such as Walk Leader, Mental Health First Aider, Paddle Instructor, and more. Your involvement helps us connect with more people and inspire them to help keep canals alive.
What you will be doing
1. Leading events such as guided walks or paddlesport activities
2. Working within a team to run single or multiple events
3. Engaging visitors and supporting their enjoyment of our waterways through various activities
4. Learning new skills
5. When registering as a volunteer, we will ask about any unspent convictions, which you need to declare and risk assess accordingly.
