At Fish Brothers, we've been helping the people of Swindon with their motoring needs for more than 75 years. Many of our team have built long and successful careers with us — and now we're looking for the next person to join our journey.
We are currently seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join our busy Relay Distrigo Parts operation.
Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for handling parts-related enquiries and driving parts sales to both trade and retail customers. You will be confident in identifying and supplying the correct parts, maximising sales opportunities, and delivering excellent customer service at every stage.
What You'll Be Doing
* Supplying and selling parts to trade and retail customers via phone, email and online enquiries
* Proactively developing parts sales and supporting published turnover objectives
* Processing orders accurately and efficiently
* Checking, booking in and correctly binning stock deliveries
* Ensuring all outgoing parts are checked and correctly despatched
* Supporting stock control and assisting with stock checks
* Handling cash, card and account transactions in line with company procedures
* Maintaining a clean, organised and professional work environment
* Building strong working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and other departments
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a Parts Advisor is essential — ideally within the motor industry
* Experience working within a busy parts department
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Good IT skills, including MS Office
* A proactive, customer-focused approach
You'll be someone who takes pride in delivering excellent service, enjoys working as part of a team, and understands the importance of accuracy in a fast-paced automotive environment.
