We are looking for a talented, creative, and highly motivated Videographer & Editor to join our marketing and media team at Sticky Baits. You will be responsible for filming, editing, and producing high-quality, engaging content that showcases our brand, products, and the wider world of carp fishing.
This role will involve working mostly on location (often on the bank) and occasionally in our in-house studio to create compelling video and photography content for social media, YouTube, email campaigns, and marketing materials. You'll also collaborate closely with the team on creative direction, storytelling, and delivering projects to tight deadlines.
Fishing experience is essential, but what matters most is your ability to create visually stunning, brand-consistent content that captures the attention of anglers and inspires our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Filming & Video Production
· Film high-quality content on location and in the studio, including product features, campaign videos, and lifestyle footage.
· Ensure all footage meets brand quality standards and technical requirements.
* Editing & Post-Production
· Edit videos to a high standard using Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent).
· Add graphics, titles, music, and effects in line with brand guidelines.
· Produce platform-optimised edits for YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
* Photography
· Capture high-quality still images for use across social media, websites, print, and other marketing channels.
· Edit and retouch images using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
* Creative Collaboration
· Work closely with the marketing team, brand ambassadors, and other key stakeholders to plan and deliver engaging campaigns.
· Contribute creative ideas for video concepts, storytelling, and marketing strategies.
* Content Management
· Organise and maintain an archive of video and photographic content.
· Ensure assets are correctly tagged and easily accessible to the team.
* Social Media Integration
· Work with the social media team to create content tailored to each platform.
· Upload and publish content, writing engaging captions, and ensuring accurate tagging and descriptions.
* Brand Development
· Maintain brand consistency across all video and photographic output.
· Support the evolution of our visual style and storytelling approach.
* Industry Awareness
· Stay up-to-date with content trends, video technology, and social media developments.
· Research competitor activity and suggest innovative content ideas.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in video production and editing.
· Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar video editing software).
· Competence in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom; After Effects experience is a plus.
· Ability to capture high-quality video and photography.
· Strong creative eye and attention to detail.
· Knowledge of social media platforms and content optimisation.
· Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
· Strong self-motivation and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
· Full driving licence and willingness to travel for shoots.
· Carp fishing knowledge is essential.
