Overview
The post holder will work with a high degree of autonomy during Service Desk hours and will be required to work without direct supervision or support. The role provides advanced first point of contact support for the ICT Service Desk, analysing and logging all requests in the Service Desk system to a standard consistent with agreed management procedures. The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing first line and remote system support for hardware, software or telecoms related issues for staff throughout London Northwest Healthcare NHS Trust. The role requires excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a proven level of technical knowledge of hardware and software applications.
Responsibilities
* Provide advanced first point of contact support for the ICT Service Desk, analysing and logging all requests in the Service Desk system to standard procedures.
* Operate with a high degree of autonomy and, when needed, work without direct supervision or support during Service Desk hours.
* Communicate effectively to promote wellbeing and safety, act promptly on concerns, and share information according to policy and procedures.
