A caring and forward-thinking specialist provision in Yeovil is seeking a passionate SEN Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a part-time permanent basis.

The full-time equivalent salary for this SEN Teacher role is between £33,000 and £46,000 per annum, with actual pay calculated pro rata based on the agreed part-time hours and working pattern.
The Position
This role would suit an adaptable and enthusiastic teacher who enjoys building positive relationships and delivering creative lessons tailored to individual learning styles.
You will support learners with varied SEND profiles, helping them engage with education through personalised and accessible teaching strategies.
Main Duties
• Deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum
• Adapt activities to suit a range of abilities and needs
• Foster a positive and safe classroom environment
• Support communication, emotional development and self-esteem
• Work collaboratively with support staff and external professionals
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to EHCP targets
• Encourage independence and resilience within learning
