Your New Role:As a Science Teacher, you will deliver high‑quality lessons across KS3 and KS4, fostering curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning. You will teach your specialist science subject while contributing to the wider department through collaborative planning, curriculum development, and enrichment activities. This is a full‑time, temporary role (five days per week), suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers who are looking to build strong foundations and receive excellent support.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated science lessons
2. Tracking and assessing student progress to secure positive oues
3. Creating a supportive, inclusive learning environment
4. Participating in departmental meetings, CPD, and whole‑school initiatives
5. Upholding school values, behaviour policies, and safeguarding standards
What You’ll Need to Succeed:To thrive in this role, you will bring:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
7. Strong subject knowledge in Science, with the ability to teach at KS3 and KS4
8. Amitment to high expectations, both academically and behaviourally
9. Excellentmunication, organisation, and classroom management skills
10. A reflective mindset and willingness to contribute to departmental improvement
11. Passion for science education and enthusiasm for creating inspiring learning experiences
