I am looking for an experienced Site Engineer to work in the Kent area. The perfect applicant will have knowledge and experience working on projects within wastewater or water treatment.
Role: Site Engineer
Location: Kent
Contract: Freelance
Rate: £400-£420 per day
When: ASAP

Duties will include:
1. Level and survey control for contracts
2. Set out detailed works
3. Make sure records are accurate and comply with organisational and legal requirements
4. Resolve any issues that may occur
5. Procurement schedules for the jobs
6. ITPs and Task Briefings
7. Site Diaries and Allocation Sheets
8. Accurate and timely setting out of the works
9. Producing quality records without outstanding defects
10. Production of records, drawing registers and weekly diaries
Skills Required:
11. Previous experience of setting out on civil engineering projects
12. Sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations
13. Fully conversant with the use of robotic total station or EDM instruments
14. Degree qualified/HNC (or equivalent) in civil engineering
15. Excellent communication skills
16. Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook
Skills Desirable:
17. Experience in using AutoCAD and MS Office
18. Temporary-works co-ordination
19. CSCS card
20. Cable avoidance training
21. First aid training
22. NEBOSH or IOSH
