Overview
Due to strong growth, the Procurement and Supply Chain (P&SC) function continues to expand, ensuring effectiveness and efficiency. Recognized as a source of business value and strategic importance, the P&SC function conducts bid activities, provides through-life supplier management, sourcing, and acquisition of products and services, offers market intelligence, and provides technical support.

To fulfill business needs, the Category Buyer will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring goods and services are sourced, managed, and delivered successfully to schedule, budget, and quality.
2. Developing effective relations with internal and external stakeholders, supporting business reviews and project gates as required.
3. Conducting analysis of categories and suppliers, developing reports, presentations, etc., to support business needs such as supplier meetings, price reviews, and strategy development.
4. Ensuring compliance with company policies and customer requirements.
5. Supporting internal and external audits.
6. Maintaining IFS data accuracy for assigned products, services, and categories.
7. Identifying and optimizing sourcing practices to improve stock availability, lead-times, savings, and quality.

Applicants should demonstrate their ability to network effectively, manage time and complexity, deliver high-quality outputs within challenging timescales, and pay attention to detail.
Requirements
* Contract and supplier management awareness
* Knowledge of supply chain principles and techniques
* Understanding of stock ordering systems and models
* Experience in outsourcing supply management
* Strong quantitative and analytical skills
* Effective communication skills (written, oral, presentation)
* Experience with ERP systems
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
* Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
