Our client, a large manufacturing business based near Brighouse have an immediate requirement to recruit a well versedCNCMachinist.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting and operating forCNCMachines in the Company in-house machine shop
* Setting and operating of single spindleCNCMachines
* Inspection of colleagues an ones own work
* EditingFanuccontrolled programs
* Working within a team environment to achieve world class manufacturing
* Ensure smooth transition between shifts
* Strive to achieve improvement within the cell
* Work to safe health and safety instructions
Skills/Experience:
* Worked in similar environment / Industry
* Be able to use engineering measuring equipment
* Be able to read engineering drawings
* Able to communicate effectively
* Experience working with Stainless Steel and Exotic material
Ideal candidates will be apprentice trained engineers equivalent toNVQLevel 3
This is a permanent position where you will be expected to work a rotating early and late shift pattern.
Week 1 -6am-2pmMonday to Thursday &6am- 11:30amon a Friday
Week 2 -2pm-10pmMonday to Thursday & 11:30am-5pmon a Friday.
In return you can expect an hourly rate of £14.50 - £16 per hour plus 20% shift allowance when working onlates.
