Harris Lee is working in partnership with The White House School, an independent specialist primary setting within BCP local authority, to appoint a committed and experienced SEND Primary Teacher.
This is a full-time, permanent position teaching within a semi-formal curriculum pathway, designed for pupils with Autism and additional neurodevelopmental needs.
The school offers a safe, creative and structured environment with small class sizes, strong therapeutic collaboration and a focus on life skills alongside core academics.
The Role:

Teach a semi-formal adapted primary curriculum
*
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND
*
Support pupils with Autism, ADHD and additional needs
*
Work closely with Independence Assistants and specialist staff
*
Contribute to EHCP reviews and pupil progress reporting
*
Promote positive behaviour strategies and emotional regulation
The Ideal Candidate:

QTS (essential)
*
Experience teaching pupils with Autism and additional needs
*
Strong understanding of SEND strategies and differentiation
*
Confident managing small classes with TA support
*
Calm, resilient and committed to inclusive practice

This is not a mainstream class teacher role - applicants must demonstrate genuine SEND experience.
