Associate Origination - European Debt (m/f/d)

Role Summary
The Associate assists Origination Manager and Senior Origination Manager in the analysis, underwriting and closing of mandate-compliant lending transactions for our investors. With growing transaction experience continuously expand area of responsibility and start acquiring own client relationships and network.
Key Responsibilities
* Financial and cash flow modeling to assess and quantify the risk principles associated with new real estate financing opportunities
* Use internal models to assess loan ratings
* Prepare committee documents and participate in debt investment committee
* Draft appropriately structured term sheets and partially negotiate with borrowers
* Work with internal and external legal advisors to partially negotiate legal documentation
* Carry out legal and tax real estate due diligence with internal experts & external advisors
* Supports smooth handover to loan management team
Key Requirements
* 2-4 year-experience in lending or structured financing
* Advanced graduate degree in Real Estate, Management, Finance, Economics or similar qualifications CFA or RICS is a plus
* Excellent modelling skills on Excel
* Fluent in English, an additional European language is a plus
* Background in lending activity or financing
* Curiosity, reactivity and communication skills
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite; highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
* Previous experience with Argus Enterprise is a plus
* Knowledge of the relevant property market
* Good negotiation and commercial skills
* Experience in an international and multicultural business environment
* Ability to navigate across different projects and departments and to work with a wide variety of different people in the organization
* Hands-on-mentality and persistence to carry out projects and tasks
* Ability to work in a team
* Communication & presentation abilities
* Constantly performs above average and shows unremitting engagement, loyalty towards the company
