Position Overview
Ithaca Energy is accepting applications for the position of Production Optimisation Lead, located in our Aberdeen Office.
To manage and coordinate all production optimisation activities at a functional level across Ithaca, in direct support of the Operated and non-Operated assets, ensuring hydrocarbon production is maximised in a safe and efficient manner.
This role oversees production optimisation processes across Ithaca’s assets to maximise production and minimise costs and downtime, and coordinates all production planning, production reporting and production downtime optimisation, including providing technical support and guidance where appropriate.
Responsibilities
* Manages & coordinate all production planning, surveillance, optimisation, analysis and reporting processes across Ithaca at a functional level in close coordination with other stakeholders as required
* Provide technical support to establish fit for purpose downtime and production loss analysis, reporting & mitigation tools/processes to maximise production potential, including participation and coordination of Root Cause Analysis and troubleshooting activities in support of the assets
* Provide specialist production technical support/advice to Ithaca assets & stakeholders to maximise value, and by applying best management practices to offshore and onshore support operations
* Preparation of production budgets, monitoring and reporting at a functional level ensuring consistency of approach and compliance
* At a functional level, ensures that Process and Production owners within the Ithaca portfolio comply with all Government & Statutory regulatory requirements including PPRS reporting, Annual Production Consent and Stewardship submissions.
* Owner of Ithaca Turnaround (TAR) challenge, optimisation & delivery processes to ensure all Turnarounds are planned, right-sized and delivered within the deferment parameters set and agreed
* Key Production interface with other Departments to ensure long term strategic integrated production planning is safe, cost-effective and coherent to maximise long term value, and optimise Locked-in Potential opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree qualified in relevant engineering discipline with proven experience preferred.
* Significant competency within a Production Department within an Upstream Operated environment
* Proven technical background with strong functional leadership qualities and influencing capabilities
* Practical working knowledge of UK legislative compliance, UK Safety Case legislation and its application in Operational environments.
* Track record in leveraging /influencing knowledge gained from prior experience to enhance team delivery and direction
* Excellent communication, presentation and communication skills (verbal & written)
