Key Responsibilities 1. Coordination & Compliance Act as the primary point of control for all temporary works on the project. Ensure compliance with BS 5975 Category 1 temporary works requirements. Verify that all temporary works designs, certificates, and permits are in place and completed correctly before work begins. 2. Temporary Works Planning Coordinate the safe installation of temporary propping to: Support the roof structure during wall plate replacement and rafter repairs. Support 3rd‑floor and 2nd‑floor joists during assessment, cutting back, and structural repairs. Ensure propping layouts are installed exactly as specified, including spreader positions, centres, and load limits. Oversee the sequence of works including debris clearance, ceiling removal, floorboard cutting, propping installation, and reinstatement. 3.
