We are now recruiting temporary roles to support our 2024 Turnaround (TAR) event, an event which enables us to undertake critical project work across the Refinery. Are you a Construction Supervisor looking for your next exciting opportunity? Do you have the skills and experience we need? We are recruiting for Civils, Electrical /Instrument & Mechanical discipline We would love to hear from applicants who have a previous experience working on turnaround or shutdown event as well as knowledge and experience of work pack planning. A degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline would be beneficial. In addition, you should also have relevant experience in the following:
1. Knowledge of construction legislation, practices, standards and techniques
2. Experience of working with third party construction contractors and contractor management
3. Working knowledge of the Construction Design and Management Regulations (CDM) 2015.
4. Technical knowledge relevant to own discipline including an understanding of legislative requirements and construction standards
5. CDM Regulations Awareness

Your Accountabilities
10. Provide construction technical input to design, safety, planning and constructability reviews
11. Manage Projects where Petroineos has the role of Principle Contractor onsite in accordance with CDM Regulations
12. Conduct SHE & Safe System of Work audits
13. Review 3rd party contractor key site documentation to ensure they meet and maintain Petroineos standards and requirements ensuring works can be executed safely and efficiently and within timescales
14. Manage communications and interfaces between teams including the facilitation of permits, participation in and/or leadership of daily area coordination meetings, site meetings, toolbox talks
15. Establish, maintain, update and provide ready access to key construction & safety documentation
16. Complete or assist with onsite quality checks
17. Facilitate safe access and egress to Construction Site through Traffic Management Plans
18. Ensure that TQ¿s are raised and proactively resolved for changes, errors, omissions or inconsistencies in the design information that are highlighted before or during site activities
19. Provide progress reports to Project Managers, Cost Engineers, Purchasing and Planners
20. Keep suitable records of site activities and conditions such as weather, deliveries, etc and the impact of any delays, in order to enable validation and sign off of contractor claims or variations.
21. Issue Site Instructions to Contractors for additional minor activities
22. Secure the site, directly inform the Construction Team Leader, Project Manager & HSE Advisors; and support any investigations after an incident
