Time 4 Recruitment has a great opportunity for a Temporary Mechanical Project Manager for 3 months at a Wildlife Park in Lincolnshire, working for a leading UK provider of electrical and mechanical engineering services.
Our client has earned a reputation for delivering excellence in the design, installation, maintenance, and repairs of electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring a cutting-edge service tailored to their customers' specific needs.
The start date for this role is Monday, 16th June 2025.
As Mechanical Project Manager, you will work on a refurbishment project that includes the expansion of animal enclosures and the addition of new interactive spaces.
Key responsibilities:
* Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
* Manage project resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, and collaborate with management for project success.
* Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
* Maintain clear communication with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
* Ensure all work meets project specifications, quality, and industry standards.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Identify and mitigate potential project risks.
* Resolve issues and conflicts as they arise.
Essential requirements:
* SMSTS certification
* Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and main contractors
* Experience in leisure, commercial, and tourism projects preferred
* Ability to complete weekly project cost reports
* Recognized relevant qualification
* Knowledge of construction health & safety legislation
* Proactive attitude
* Confidence in quality assurance issues
* Proven track record in similar roles
