Job Description for Graduate Outage Support Engineer
We would be looking for individuals with a minimum of a HNC in a relevant Engineering or Technical subject to work on a nuclear power station within the Outage Management department. Ideally, the successful candidate would be a graduate with a degree in a relevant Engineering or Technical subject.
After an initial familiarisation and training programme, Graduate Outage Support Engineer the your role will cover:
Understanding and interrogating the Asset Management Suite Programme using various software tools.
Supporting development of the outage plan using Primavera P6 as required
Gaining an understanding of the outage scope carried out in a refuelling outage over nominated areas of plant
Liaising with key stakeholders such as Engineering and Contract Partners on a regular basis
Supporting the development of risk registers and mitigation progress
Coordinating the successful delivery of outage scope for nominated areas of plant
Play a role in post outage reviews, by capturing relevant OPEX from preparation and delivery
Full training, guidance and support will be provided to enhance your career development
Someone with 1-2 years post grad experience within a work delivery environment would be ideal but this is not essential
