The school is a popular 2 form entry specialist school with approximately 110+ pupils. It supports children from 4–19 years in the Early Years, Primary and Secondary phases, offering opportunities to explore vocational qualifications and develop life skills. The school is currently seeking a trainee Teacher to work on a part-time basis, 3 days a week (term time only). This position is required ASAP on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will support learners with complex needs on a 1:1 basis as their individual training teacher. Full training and coaching will be provided. After completing the 2-year training, you will be a fully fledged SEN teacher and will move into the senior teaching team.

Requirements
* Teaching Assistant Qualification (Desirable but not essential)
* Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
* Relevant teaching assistant, care or education-based experience (voluntary experience included)
* Eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities
* Working, supporting and teaching learners 1:1 with additional needs as a training teacher
* Supporting with a learning plan for the learner
* Assisting the child to reach learning objectives
