* Manage customer credit accounts and ensure compliance with the organisation's financial policies.
* Monitor and follow up on overdue payments, maintaining accurate communication records.
* Process invoices and update financial systems with accurate credit data.
* Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Provide regular reports to the accounting and finance team regarding outstanding debts.
* Liaise with internal teams to address any queries related to credit control processes.
* Support audit preparations by maintaining accurate and accessible records.
* Contribute to process improvements within the credit control function.
The Successful Applicant
As the successful Temporary Credit Controller should have:
* Previous experience in credit control or a related accounting and finance role.
* A strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* An organised and detail-oriented approach to work.
