ABOUT US
We’re a high-quality fostering organisation, recognised as ‘Outstanding’ in all areas by OFSTED and one of the UK’s only independent fostering agencies specialising in cultural and multi-faith-based fostering placements.
Our focus is on helping children and young people with specific religious or cultural needs find foster parents who share their values and identity, providing a safe and loving home. Our recent OFSTED inspection rated us as ‘Outstanding’ in every area.
Our first office was in the West Midlands; as our reputation grew, we expanded across the UK, now with an office in Blackburn and coverage in the East Midlands and Yorkshire. Founders Mohammed Bashir and Andrew Nugent continue to lead us.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a Referrals Officer, you will manage referrals from Local Authorities, using key information and matching criteria to ensure children are placed with suitable families. You should be able to work independently, use your initiative, and find creative solutions for foster placement requests.
This role is the first point of contact between Local Authorities, foster families, and Social Workers. You will develop positive relationships and communicate confidently with professionals at all levels. Experience in children’s services or similar, strong administration skills, adherence to regulatory policies, and teamwork abilities are beneficial. Full training will be provided.
You will undertake admin duties such as coordinating training, meetings, and events, supporting foster parents and Social Workers, completing compliance tasks, and recording information on our database.
We are a family of independent fostering agencies with a shared vision to support children with difficult starts in life and provide a supportive network for foster carers.
