Primary SEN Resource Provision HLTA A primary school resource provision in the Stockport area is looking for both part-time and full-time HLTA’s (Higher Level Teaching Assistants) to join their team. They require an educator who is committed to inclusive learning with a nurturing personality to provide the SEN children with they support required to access learning in a safe and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have qualified as an HLTA or higher and will have experience working with SEN children. Role Description - Work within the school’s specialist resource provision supporting SEN students. - Manage the physical, social and emotional needs of all children in the provision. - Work 1 to 1, when required, with children to support them in accessing their learning. - Help children with transitions and ensure they can still access the mainstream classroom where possible. - Be responsible for the well-being and safeguarding of all children. Role Requirements - Have an HLTA qualification or higher. - Previous experience working with SEN children in either an education or childcare capacity. - Experience managing challenging behaviours. - Strong communication skills with good command of English. - A passion for supporting children in their learning journey. - Available to work part-time or full-time.
