Love getting stuck into the detail? Thrive on making systems run smoother, faster, smarter?
Are you ready to take charge of inventory across global suppliers and help drive the future of sustainable tech?
If you're looking for more than just stock control - if you want ownership, growth, and real impact - this role was made for you.
Our client is an ambitious, fast-scaling clean tech company on a mission to transform how we use energy in our homes and buildings. As demand soars and operations expand, they’re looking for an experienced Inventory Controller to bring order, accuracy, and insight across their UK and international supply chain.
This is not just about counting boxes. You’ll be the engine behind smart inventory decisions, the go-to person for real-time data, and the bridge between supply, production, and delivery. Your work will directly contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable future - and you’ll be doing it as part of a passionate, collaborative team that’s building something special.
Why You’ll Love This Role
* Be the master of movement – own and optimise inventory across a multi-site, international network.
* Dig into systems that matter – use Sage 200 to power accurate data, clear forecasting, and smarter decision-making.
* Collaborate across continents – work closely with logistics partners, overseas suppliers, and internal teams who care about what they do.
* Shape the future – support the introduction of new components and tech as the company scales.
* Make your mark – step into a business where your ideas are heard, your impact is visible, and your growth is supported.
About You
You're confident, curious, and happiest when you're solving problems and making things better. You’re comfortable juggling fast-moving priorities, and you know how to turn messy data into clean insight.
You’ll likely bring:
* 2+ years of experience in inventory or stock control
* Strong skills with Sage 200 (or another ERP system)
* Advanced Excel know-how for clean reporting and confident analysis
* Experience managing stock across multi-site or international locations
* Familiarity with working in physical product environments - from components to finished goods
* Understanding of import/export processes and supply chain coordination
* A proactive mindset, keen attention to detail, and a love of structure
* A full UK driving licence and access to a car for occasional site visits
If you’re missing one or two of these, but have transferable skills and the passion to learn - still apply. We’d love to hear from you.
* 33 days holiday (incl. bank holidays) plus up to 5 unpaid days
* 5% pension contribution via salary exchange
* Health cash plan, private healthcare options, and income protection
* Hybrid working and flexible hours
* Cycle to Work scheme, on-site parking, and employee discount platform
* Potential share options – be part of the journey
* Enhanced maternity & paternity pay
* Paid volunteering day each year
* Ongoing training and development tailored to you
Some benefits available post-probation – full details on request.
A Place Where You Belong
We and our client believe that innovation thrives in diverse teams. We welcome applications from all backgrounds, abilities, and identities. If you bring the right mindset and transferable experience, we’d love to explore this opportunity with you.
This is your chance to be part of something exciting - where your attention to detail fuels a much bigger mission. If you're ready to level up your inventory career and be part of a fast-moving team shaping the future of energy, apply now.
