Management Accountant
£40,000 - £50,000 + benefits

We're looking for a talented and proactive management accountant looking for their next move in their career to join our Finance team in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious to join a dynamic and forward thinking Finance team.
What you will do:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Variance analysis of actual performance including cost reconciliations and analysis of profit variances
* Supporting business budgeting and forecasting, including cash flow
* Revenue recognition and WIP reconciliation
* Ensuring correct revenue and cost allocation across works
* Production of Balance Sheet reconciliations, along with identification of and dealing with potential issues
* Business partnering with overhead functions to support management of cost base
* Ad-hoc financial analysis to support business strategy and performance
* Preparation of information and liaising with Group Finance and external auditors as required
We want to hear from you if you have:
* Relevant finance qualification (for example, ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
* Strong IT skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft Excel
* Previous management accountancy experience in a similar environment, including working with profit centres and producing variance analyses
* Experience of business partnering
* Knowledge of accounting practices and reporting requirements, experience of working with IFRS15 would be of distinct advantage
* Organisation and planning skills, with ability to meet deadlines
