A growing manufacturing business is looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support production across a busy automated site.
This is a hands-on role suited to an engineer with a strong 50/50 electrical and mechanical background, ideally from a manufacturing environment with experience working on conveyors, CNC machinery, motors, sensors and PLC controlled equipment.
The Role
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across site
* Fault finding on CNC machines and PLC controlled conveyors
* Working on motors, relays, sensors, belts, bearings and wiring
* Supporting machinery reliability and reducing downtime
* Encouraging and improving planned preventative maintenance activities
* Assisting with continuous improvement projects
* Maintaining engineering standards within the toolroom and maintenance stores
* Supporting stock control of engineering spares and consumables
Requirements
* Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer background
* Strong xsngvjr electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
* Experience within manufacturing, production, glass, FMCG or industrial environments
* Comfortable working on PLC controlled machinery
* Able to work independently and within a team
* Proactive approach to maintenance and housekeeping
