Teaching Assistant - 1:1 Support (Reception & Year 2)
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive village primary school to recruit two Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for caring, patient, and committed individuals who are passionate about supporting early learning and making a real difference in the classroom.
The Roles
Position 1: 1:1 support for a Reception pupil
Position 2: 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil
Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team to support learning, engagement, and phonics development
Hours
Monday to Friday, term time only
9:00am - 3:30pm
30‑minute unpaid break
Key Requirements
Experience working with children in a primary school setting
Strong phonics knowledge
A calm, nurturing, and proactive approach
Ability to support pupils 1:1 with learning and emotional needs
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
