Required as soon as possible
The Learning Academy Partnership have an exciting opportunity for a Site Supervisor to join our Estates Team. You will be based in Ilsham C of E Academy in the heart of Torquay, but using our fleet of Estates vehicles will be required to support schools across South Devon.
This is a crucial role to support our School Trust, where you will get a chance to achieve a real sense of personal fulfilment knowing that what you do has a direct impact on the lives of our children. You will work closely with our Operational Estates Supervisors and Estates Lead, to ensure the highest quality environments and facilities that fully support the teaching and learning of our children.

You will take the lead in supporting Health & Safety and ensuring all aspects of building compliance are maintained. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in building maintenance, caretaking, or facilities management, ideally with the skills to carry out a variety of minor repairs and site tasks. You’ll also benefit from ongoing training and support to help you grow and succeed in the role. If you’re practical, proactive, and ready to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you!
At our academies, you’ll be supported by a strong, values-led community that puts children at the heart of everything we do. As part of a single organisation with a shared responsibility for all children, we’re committed to helping you flourish through extensive professional development and a strong focus on wellness. Our People Strategy is designed to nurture and support you in your role, and we’re proud to offer an inclusive, diverse workplace where everyone feels valued and a true sense of belonging.
Our School Trust is underpinned by our four core beliefs; we are stronger together, a sense of belonging; removing barriers and realising the possible. This means that by working collectively, we can achieve our absolute best to ensure that children, especially the most vulnerable, can flourish. In short, our ethos is one of working together to Empower, Excel, Together.
We can offer you:
1. The opportunity to make a profound different to children’s lives
2. A culture that takes work-life balance extremely seriously for all its colleagues
