About Our Client
Our client is a well-established organisation within the manufacturing sector, recognised for its commitment to operational excellence and innovation. They are seeking a Finance Manager to join them on a full time and permanent basis.
Job Description
Management Accountant duties include;
3. Lead and develop a small finance team, fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.
4. Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
5. Oversee budgeting and forecasting cycles
6. Forecast cash flow and support cost-saving initiatives across procurement, manufacturing, and engineering.
7. Produce insightful financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions
8. Monitor financial performance against KPIs and business targets
9. Preparation of year end accounts, audit management and external financial reporting processes
10. Review, refine, and optimise internal reporting tools and dashboards
The Successful Applicant
The successful Management Accountant should have:
11. A formal qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
12. Experience in a manufacturing environment.
13. Strong understanding of standard costing and inventory accounting.
14. Advanced Excel skills; SAP experience beneficial.
15. Proven people management experience.
16. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
17. A highly organised approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
