Commercial Account Handler
Gloucester
£30,000k bonus
The successful candidate will have commercial insurance broking experience. It is a busy role consisting of servicing, renewing and growing a book of smaller commercial and landlord clients, so you will need to be very organised! Ideal candidate would have 2 years commercial broking experience, be an Acturis user, have as a minimum 5 GCSEs at Grade 5 or above including English and Maths, and be Cert CII qualified (or at least prepared to undertake the Cert).
What You’ll Be Doing
* Service, retain, and grow a varied portfolio of personal insurance clients
* Handle policies across home, motor, travel, and our exclusive Parksure scheme (holiday lodges, park homes, static caravans)
* Manage servicing requirements including renewals, amendments, and claims support
* Maintain regular client contact to ensure cover continues to meet their needs
* Ensure compliance with FCA and ICOB requirements at all times
* Monitor and manage customer credit within agreed company limits
What We’re Looking For
* GCSEs (or equivalent) with minimum 5 grades 4 or above including English and Maths
* Cert CII qualification (or willingness to study towards it)
* Insurance knowledge—principles, practices, and legalities of General Insurance
* Experience in personal lines, ideally within a broker environment
* IT skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) with Acturis experience desirable
* Excellent customer service, communication, and organisational skills
