We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, talented, and inspirational Teacher of Music to join our creative and supportive Performing Arts department at our school in Sevenoaks.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students through high-quality Music teaching and contribute to the wider musical life of the school. The successful candidate will be committed to encouraging creativity, confidence, and a love of music in students of all abilities.
The Role
The successful applicant will:
* Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitable candidates
* Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons
* Support and contribute to school concerts, performances, and extracurricular music activities
* Monitor and support student progress to ensure positive outcomes
* Contribute to curriculum development within the department
* Foster a positive and inspiring learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* A degree in Music or a related subject
* Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Music education
* The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
