What Theyre Looking For
Our client is looking for a
team of experienced female Support Workers
to provide 1:1 support to a young woman in her late teens, helping her live life to the fullest whilst also supporting her with essential life skills and navigating becoming an adult. You will be a positive, calm and consistent support to her day to day. This post is restricted to female applications only, as permitted under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
2+ years experience supporting children with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health or behaviours that challenge.
Level 3 Qualification in Children (or willing to work towards it).
Driving licence and access to a car would be an advantage but not essential.
Willing to learn, grow, and make a positive difference every single day.
Reliable, flexible, punctual, hardworking and honest.
Good communication skills.
You will have a positive attitude and a great sense of humour
extra bonus points if you know any Tik Tok dances!
Willingness to learn new skills and progress within your role.
You will have an assertive but friendly approach.
You must be a calm, patient and resilient person.
Youll Support Her With:
Person-centred care in supported living and community settings.
Daily living tasks and building independence.
Supporting with behaviours that may challenge, responding appropriately to any emotional or behavioural distress.
Developing life skills, confidence and positive social connections.
Accurate record keeping and teamwork with professionals.
Promoting a safe, respectful and empowering environment.

Shifts that work around you:
Daytime shifts only
overtime or waking night shifts available on request.
8, 10 or 12 hours.
