Overview
We are seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and compassionate HR/People Officers to support our Central IHC services, based at our offices in Royal Alexandra Hospital. You will work alongside the People Business Partner to provide HR advice to a variety of clinical and non-clinical managers as well as supporting our administration team. You will be required to travel across North Wales to attend meetings within this role. You will be the first point of contact for all HR matters and queries arising from employees and managers. You will report to the Business Partner, who will provide overall ER case responsibility. To improve the Portfolio's performance, and reduce ER case numbers you will be proactive in your approach, resolving informally where appropriate.
Responsibilities
* Support managers with a variety of ER cases such as sickness and attendance management, disciplinary, performance and conflict resolution.
* Attend formal meetings, providing advice and options to resolve cases.
* For formal cases, support managers during hearings, providing HR support.
* Co-deliver in-house training on topics such as conflict resolution, performance management and attendance at work to managers and colleagues within the portfolio.
* Travel across North Wales to attend meetings as required.
Qualifications and development
* Ideally, proven HR experience with CIPD Level 5 qualification.
* If not yet qualified, the organisation can support you to achieve CIPD Level 5 through local college links.
* A requirement of the role is of taking CIPD Level 5 if you do not already hold this qualification.
Remuneration and eligibility
Remuneration will be dependent upon qualification, skill and experience within the Band 5 pay scale.
Welsh language
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
