A leading UK law firm is seeking a newly qualified or a Residential Development Solicitor at the beginning of their career, and is looking to join this highly regarded Southampton-based team. Be part of a national Real Estate practice with over 200 solicitors across 8 offices, the Southampton team works with major developers, housebuilders, and landowners on complex and high-value residential development projects.

The Role
You'll join a busy and well-established Residential Development team handling a wide range of matters, including:
* Advising on residential site acquisitions, disposals, and strategic land deals
* Drafting and negotiating contracts, overage agreements, and development documentation
* Working with national and regional housebuilders, landowners, and housing associations
* Supporting clients through all stages of the development lifecycle
* Managing transactions and contributing to client relationship management and business development
About You
* Solid experience in residential development or broader commercial property work (gained during training or post-qualification)
* Strong technical skills and an interest in land development and infrastructure
* A commercial and pragmatic mindset, with a focus on delivering practical solutions
* Confidence in engaging with clients and a desire to build long-term relationships
* A collaborative, team-focused attitude and eagerness to contribute to the group's success
