Celeros Flow Technology, LLC Manufacturing Engineer


General Summary

This key role of Manufacturing Engineer will involve planning and creating a systematic process for the manufacture of components based on customer requirements and standard times to ensure the most efficient method of manufacture. The role will create processes for method and cost to manufacture and ratify costs and methods when required. As part of the Operational team, you will evaluate machinery, tooling, programs, and SOPs to support machine‑shop output and efficiencies. You will drive and implement ways to improve current manufacturing methods, increase productivity, and enhance efficiency through continuous improvement projects. CNC programming duties include creation of new programs, editing and updating current programs, supporting the CNC machines and operators, and developing jigs and fixtures (new and modifications).


Principle Duties And Responsibilities

* Creation of new and modification of CNC programs using Siemens, Mazak, and Heidenhain program languages.
* Preparation and updating of manufacturing methods, documentation, tooling, and setup details required for product manufacture.
* Development, evaluation, and improvement of manufacturing methods using Lean Manufacturing principles.
* Creation and maintenance of robust and lean manufacturing processes (CNC and manual) that meet product and process quality, are manufactured on time, and deliver business results.
* Daily and weekly support for manufacturing processes, including program creation, issue resolution, and collaboration with other manufacturing disciplines.
* Ongoing support to the machine shop and processes to ensure economic manufacturing meets the correct quality standard.
* Work with suppliers on manufacturing‑process related matters.
* Facilitation and participation in continuous‑improvement activities, analysis of production processes, and use of problem‑solving methodology to identify improvement opportunities.
* Continuous pursuit of new ways to improve production efficiency and cost effectiveness.
* Creation of process specifications and material purchase specifications.
* Lead and ownership of manufacturing consumables control, including tooling and lubrication.
* Development of processes for rectification or additional work of assemblies and parts (including bought‑in finished) due to production changes, as required.
* Support non‑conformance issues and improvement initiatives.
* Assistance with cost‑of‑poor‑quality KPIs and corrective actions.
* Provision of ongoing support and training to personnel related to manufacturing.
* Availability for further training when required.
* Collaboration with managers and cell leaders to implement company policies and goals.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental guidelines.


Education And Experience

* HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering with a proven track record in a similar role encompassing the above responsibilities.
* Understanding and experience of lean manufacturing techniques and detailed knowledge of CNC and manual machining processes in milling and turning.
* Team player with high energy and commitment required for leading and implementing change.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience with SAP or other MRP systems; proficiency in Excel and Word is beneficial.

Must have a valid right to work in the UK and be able to obtain security clearance to apply for this role.

Physical Demands

* Required daily to stand, sit, walk, talk, hear, and see; specific close‑vision abilities are required to perform computer work.
* Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
* Required daily use of hands, fingers, and arms to reach and operate a computer and telephone.

* Occasional travel by air or road, potentially involving extended periods of sitting.


Working Conditions

* Ability to work with moderate noise (business office with computers, phones, and printers).

* Ability to sit in a car or on a plane for extended periods.
