This is an exciting opportunity to join our developing, dedicated team of clinicians supporting our children and young people at Barton School.
You will work closely with our education team to support our young people and their families. Your responsibilities include providing evidence-based assessments and interventions under supervision, contributing to communication and sensory profiles, placement plans, and delivering interventions. The role involves observations, staff training, attending multi-agency meetings, and service development. There are opportunities for ongoing professional development through internal forums and external training funding.

We seek a Therapies Assistant experienced with young people with special educational needs, motivated to work independently under supervision, creative in developing bespoke interventions, and proactive problem-solver.

Essential Criteria:
* 5 GCSEs Grade C or above, including English
* Preferably an undergraduate degree
* Experience as a therapy assistant or similar role is advantageous
* Experience in educational settings is advantageous
* Teamwork skills
* Knowledge of working with children and young people with SEN
* Ability to conduct 1:1 and group sessions under supervision
* Effective communication skills for diverse audiences
* Organisational skills and administrative experience is advantageous
