Beyond your core responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a range of projects including public-market readiness initiatives, new products, commercial arrangements, SPV structures and broader technical accounting matters. You will also support the continued development of the control environment, helping to strengthen governance, documentation and reporting processes as the business grows.
The successful candidate will be an ACA-qualified accountant with a strong background in audit, external reporting and technical accounting. You will have experience interpreting accounting standards, regulatory guidance and legislation, together with the ability to explore complex accounting matters and draft clear, well-reasoned technical papers. Strong IFRS knowledge is essential, particularly around areas such as IFRS 2 and IFRS 9.
You will be comfortable operating within a fast-paced environment and have the ability to work effectively within a fintech, payments, lending, banking or broader regulated financial services environment. Additional experience of tax matters or SPV structures would be advantageous.
The role offers significant exposure to senior finance leadership and provides an excellent platform for career progression within a rapidly scaling finance function. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key role in the success of one of the UK's most exciting FinTech businesses while continuing to develop your career in a high-growth environment.
