The Role:
This position is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running, adapt quickly to new projects, and integrate seamlessly into a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality, maintainable code across front end and back end systems.
* Support the rebranding of multiple existing web-based applications.
* Contribute to backend development, particularly within AWS and Python services.
* Collaborate effectively with team members, ensuring work is shared and not siloed.
* Support BAU activity and additional development programmes as required (e.g. MHHS programme).
* Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Ensure best practices in coding to avoid creating inflexible or unchangeable solutions.
Requirements:
* Proven knowledge of Node.js, Python, and AWS in backend or full stack roles.
* Previous experience working on rebrands or large-scale application changes is desirable.
* Ability to adapt quickly and take on new tasks across a wide range of technologies.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work as part of a close-knit development team.
* A well-rounded skillset, comfortable working across both front end and back end.
* Hybrid working preferred, though fully remote is possible.
