At Anglian Water, we're looking for a dedicated Quality Assurance Lead to help shape the future of our Analytical Services. As our Quality Assurance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our Quality Management System across Analytical Services. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you'll ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, lead internal audits, and drive a culture of continuous improvement. What you'll be doing: ​​- Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System across Analytical Services. - Lead internal audits and support external and subcontractor audit processes. - Monitor analytical quality control (AQC), EQA, and non-conforming work. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and reduce risk. - Collaborate with operational teams to embed quality standards and best practices. - Maintain and update quality documentation and ensure traceable records. - Deliver training and support competency assessments across teams. - Analyse and interpret validation data to meet regulatory and accreditation standards. - Act as a key contact for regulators and accreditation bodies during audits. - Deputise for the Quality Manager, ensuring impartial and effective decision-making.​ ​ What does it take to be successful? ​​- A scientific degree or equivalent, ideally working towards Chartered Status. - Proven experience in accredited quality systems (e.g., ISO 17025). - Strong auditing skills and a continuous improvement mindset. - Strong communicator, capable of delivering training and influencing others to adopt best practices. - Build effective relationships across teams and with external stakeholders, including regulators and accreditation bodies. - Is confident using data and statistics to monitor performance and identify trends (knowledge of statistics is desirable but not essential). - Champions health, safety, and wellbeing in the workplace, ensuring these values are embedded in all quality activities. - Knowledge of drinking water and wastewater regulations is desirable.​ Inclusion at Anglian Water: ​​Join us and make a difference.
