Your new role
As a Systems Specialist, you’ll play a key role in optimising terminal operations and supporting critical business systems. Working closely with operational teams and IT specialists, you will:
1. Gather user requirements and translate them into system specifications.
2. Configure and implement applications for container terminal equipment.
3. Provide daily operational support for Terminal Operating Systems (TOS), including proactive maintenance.
4. Deliver training to system users across the business.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify performance trends and implement improvements.
6. Act as 1st and 2nd line support for TOS-related issues.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in projects that drive efficiency and innovation across the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
We’re looking for someone with:
7. Experience in Port Operations, Logistics, or Distribution.
8. Familiarity with terminal operating systems such as Zodiac or Navis (desirable).
9. Strong analytical skills and the ability to convert operational requirements into clear processes.
10. Experience in Business Process Modelling and project coordination.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
12. Practical experience managingplex system projects, including go-lives and frontline support.
