Artemis Human Capital is delighted to be working with a highly esteemed organisation who is seeking a Business Support Executive to join their small, dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to play a key role in the smooth running of the office, providing high-level administrative and executive support while also contributing to wider projects that make a positive impact.
About the role
This is a varied and rewarding position where no two days are the same. The Business Support Executive will oversee day-to-day office operations, support financial and governance processes, manage data systems and act as a key point of contact for stakeholders. You will also provide direct support to the Chief Executive, helping to manage priorities, coordinate communications and ensure the organisation delivers its strategic goals.
Key responsibilities
* Ensure the efficient running of office operations, systems and procedures.
* Act as the first point of contact for enquiries by phone, email and in person.
* Provide diary management and executive support to the Chief Executive, including meeting preparation, note-taking and follow-up actions.
* Manage financial administration including debtor tracking, credit control and reporting.
* Coordinate board and committee meetings, ensuring timely preparation of agendas, papers and minutes.
* Maintain HR and governance records, supporting compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
* Support the planning and delivery of projects, campaigns and events, liaising with suppliers and stakeholders as needed.
* Oversee the accuracy of CRM and data systems to support reporting and communications.
* Assist with stakeholder engagement, newsletters and distribution of updates.
Experience required
* A confident and detail-focused professional with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
* A degree (or equivalent qualification) in business, administration, finance or a related area.
* Previous experience in office management, administration or business support.
* Experience supporting senior leadership with executive-level administration.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and strong IT skills (Microsoft Office essential).
* Experience in financial record-keeping.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Knowledge of governance and GDPR compliance.
* Proactive and independent working style with high attention to detail.
