What you will do
* Manage a caseload of clients, conducting assessments to identify their social care needs and developing comprehensive care plans
* Screen, triage, and make informed decisions on safeguarding concerns, including determining Section 42 enquiries under the Care Act
* Identify and respond to signs of abuse, neglect, or exploitation involving both children and adults
* Conduct risk assessments and work collaboratively with partner agencies to implement safeguarding plans for vulnerable individuals
* Keep accurate records of all interventions and communications, ensuring adherence to professional standards and guidelines
* Provide advice, support, and guidance to clients, families, and carers to help improve their well‑being and quality of life
* Participate in continuous professional development activities to keep up to date with best practices in social work
Qualifications
* Diploma in Social Work (or equivalent)
* Current Social Work England registration
* Experience working within a social care setting
* Experience screening, triaging, and making decisions on safeguarding concerns, including determining whether concerns meet Section 42 enquiry criteria under the Care Act or require signposting to other agencies
* Experience identifying and responding to signs of abuse, neglect, or exploitation involving both children and adults
* Skilled in conducting risk assessments, working collaboratively with partner agencies, and implementing safeguarding plans to protect vulnerable individuals
