In this varied and rewarding role, you'll work across both the purchase and sales ledgers, handling everything from processing invoices and credit notes to supporting financial reporting and audits. What You'll Be Doing
· Monitoring and Liaising with Debtors
· Issuing sales invoice and credit notes
· Raising purchase orders and processing invoices in line with company and accounting standards
· Managing payments via BACS, CHAPS, and SWIFT
· Reconciling bank statements and monitoring cash flow
· Supporting the preparation of weekly financial reports
· Handling queries from internal teams and customers
· Assisting with gathering information for audits and maintaining accurate financial records
· Issuing monthly statements and managing petty cash
· Collaborating with the wider admin team when needed
What We're Looking For
· Experience in a finance role, ideally covering both purchase and sales ledger
· Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Organised, proactive, and able to prioritise tasks effectively
· Confident working with financial data (GCSE Maths Grade C/Level 4 or above)
· A team player who builds strong working relationships and has a strong "can do" attitude
· Looking to progress in a thriving business
· Experience in payroll "helpful"
· AAT Level 3 or above desired not essential, support given for the right candidate
